The U.S. Department of Education is looking for students to help test the 2027–2028 Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form before it’s released by October 1.
By joining beta testing, students can:
• Submit their 2027–2028 FAFSA form early
• Get a head start on the financial aid process
• Be part of shaping the future of the FAFSA experience

Prepare now so you can complete the 2027–28 FAFSA form as soon as it’s available on October 1, 2026. Here are some ways you can get ready:
Create a StudentAid.gov account (if you don’t already have one).
Learn about the documents you may need to fill out the FAFSA form.
Determine your dependency status and whether your parent(s) or spouse will be required to contribute information on your FAFSA form.
If you’re a dependent student, use the Who’s My FAFSA Parent? wizard to identify which parent(s) will be a required contributor on your form.
Stay informed about 2027–28 FAFSA changes and receive up-to-date notifications and information:

Get Form from attendance
Get form signed 1 week before your date of visit
Return the form to Attendance Office A214
Student will be given the College Visitation Form
When the College Visitation Form is brought back signed the Attendance Office will then change the Excused absence to College Visit
